Our Story
We are following advice provided by the three Auckland District Health Boards to ensure we continue to meet your health needs in a safe, protected environment, while doing all we can to identify community transmission of Coronavirus. This is a time of frequent change, and we will adapt our processes as the need arises. Regular updates will be provided here. Your health and safety, and the health and safety of our staff, is paramount.
At this time:
-
You should contact us if you have a health need - we are here to help and can guide you as to the best process for assessment
-
If you have respiratory or flu-like symptoms (sore throat, cough, shortness of breath, runny nose, loss of smell) you need to have a swab. We are running daily COVID swabbing clinics - please phone our receptionist to make a free appointment for this. Note that these clinics are strictly for undertaking COVID swabs - a separate appointment will be required if you have other health issues that need addressing. All activity related to Coronavirus is free - if you have symptoms and need review you will not be charged for an assessment or swab.
-
We are offering face-to-face, video and phone consultations. We will be separating all patients with flu-like symptoms from those without. If you have flu like symptoms we ask that you wait in your car or our car park, and wear a mask at the time of your review. Please phone our receptionist when you arrive to advise of your location. Well patients are able to wait inside in our waiting room.
-
Virtual consultation links will be sent to you prior to your appointment if you have advised our receptionist or indicated online that you wish to have a virtual consult. If you have not received this ahead of your appointment time, please contact our receptionist.
-
It remains important to continue with flu vaccinations and childhood immunisations. Please book an appointment with our nurse for these.
