Cervical Screening 2023
Cervical screening is an important test for anyone with a cervix who is aged between 25 and 69 years of age and who has ever had sexual contact. From 12 September 2023, the primary test for cervical screening (previously called a "smear" test) will change to a Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) swab, with the option of self-testing.
You can read more about the changes and see FAQ here.
Resources to Help You Manage COVID-19 at Home
For most people, and especially for those who are vaccinated, COVID-19 infection will cause mild cold-like symptoms. The vast majority of those who contract COVID-19 can safely isolate at home and successfully manage their symptoms with paracetamol, hydration and rest. A small number of patients will become more unwell, so it is important to know what to look out for and when to get in touch with a health professional. Self management is now the default standard of care, however we are here to help - if you have worsening or severe symptoms at any point, please call our clinic on (09) 630 6981. After hours you can call for assistance on 0800 687 647.
